América Latina en Noruega is the first anthology to focus on the Latin American community in Norway. It takes a multidisciplinary approach, with contributions within the fields of linguistics, literary studies, and cultural studies, and considers how this community has constructed its own spaces and identities, and the ways in which Latin America is present in Norway. The volume consists of nine academic chapters, an essay, and two interviews. These explore topics related to Spanish teaching, the use of the Spanish language in contact with Norwegian, the Latin American music scene and dissemination of Latin American cinema in Norway, the precarious employment situation of this group of migrants, as well as literary production and publishing linked to Latin America.
