The new Expeditionary AF role coincided with a revolutionary change to preparing airmen through Force Development policies and programs AF-wide. Both events required the AFMS to examine its way of conducting operations. The transformational process entitled \"Flight Path Implementation Guide for the Combat Wing Organization-Medical\" specifically focused on developing future senior medics and organizational structure. The Flight Path attempts to fix the flaws associated with the OMG while providing a solid foundation for mission enhancement and senior medic development.
