This book is written with all my love to share what I, from my own experience, have had to live as a mother, teacher and Davis(R) facilitator. As I listen to other parents tell me about their journeys through therapies, doctors and diagnoses, I realize how much the stories and concerns coincide when one of our children begins to have learning difficulties, be it attention deficit, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, hyperactivity, or ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). As parents, we want to help them, however, the fact of having educational knowledge or even being an expert in the subject does not exempt us from being completely in hands of doctors, therapists, teachers and school directors, and be subject to their guidance.
