Read the Whole Story Below...For this story to begin, an introduction must be made. Our young lad's name is Colin, his Grandad's birthday is today. With gift in hand and spring in step, young Colin made his way, to the old and rusty postbox thatsat on Rathdowne Lane. The postbox neared, he gave a grinas he picked up his pace...Instead he got all twisted upand fell flat on his face! The stamps flew high, the gift flew lowand then here comes a riddle, for from his pocket flying fastout shot a juicy pickle. It hit the stamps and one stuck truethen flew into the box...Colin leapt up and pulled the lidHis eyes grew wide with shock! Where should be letters piled highwith stamps and envelopes, instead there was a staircaseleading where? He did not know...He jumped into the postboxand ran down those spiral stairs. There ahead he saw the picklebeing carried by a… hare?!A postage hare in uniformofficial as they come, was carrying that pickleat quite a speedy run. It would not stop at Colin's shoutso chase had to be made...Never had a stranger sightbeen seen 'neath Rathdowne Lane. Postage Hares all stopped and staredas Colin chased and chased. That postage hare was faster thanyoung Colin had ever faced. Up and up and right and leftand up and left and right. That pickle was almost in his reach, he reached with all his might! His hand wrapped round that pickle, the hare let out a cry...It threw them out the tunneland up into the sky! And what a throw - so strong and trueOver homes and trees and rocks. Colin landed perfectlyInside a letterbox! Stuffed neat inside that box was heand feeling rather sad...The lid went up, two eyes looked down, The eyes of his Granddad!
