Years ago, when Rose was only a little girl and the world seemed that much brighter, she could never have imagined herself forced to leave home; but now she was an adult of twenty and she knew that wasn't how the world worked. Her father died when she was eleven, and then her mother at sixteen; and now she was forced to leave the only place she had ever called home.
