Tithing in the Hebrew is "ma'aser, "meaning "a tenth part". It is in this moment when our true motives concerning God are revealed. The tithe creates an unbreakable covenant between you and God. Often in the midst of crisis we are tempted to keep the tithe because of present circumstances, but withholding the tithe in the present, hinders the release of the future. Christians must begin to see tithes as important and a vital link to their blessings being released in their life.
