In this short emotionally revealing memoirs I describe my experience of psychoanalytic therapy while also training as an integrative psychotherapist. I have written about some of the techniques I used along with the therapy to improve my own life as well as many of the techniques used in my work with clients. After years of abuse and emotional stagnation, the changes taking place in my life during my therapy and training become apparent. If you glean some pearls of wisdom and insights from reading this, I will be very happy. I have mostly refrained from using jargon and technical terms however when I did feel it was necessary I have described in layman's terms what I mean when using the word or phrase.
