Mari lived with her mother and father at 43 Windthorne Road. She was three years old when her mother, asleep in the next room, was brutally murdered. Since then, she has lived with her father and grandparents in her grandparents' house. As she looks forward to her senior year and beginning her life as an adult, she focuses on finding her mother's killer by looking for clues in her family's attic. She soon believes that the solution to the murder lies in the house where her mother was killed.
